Helpful Condo Information and Printable Condo Handouts By definition a condominium is a structure of two or more units, the interior space of which are individually owned and the balance of the property is owned in common by the owners of the individual units. There are several different types of condos including PUDs & Site Condos which typically are individual homes on individual lots. Townhomes are units generally having two floors that are attached to other similar units via common walls, but the most common of condos is the multi-unit complex with each condo consisting of one floor. Generally you can expect each condominim to have it's own Home Owner's Association (an appointed board who handles decision making for the condo development) and Condo fees or Association Dues. These dues can vary substantailly from one condo to the next.
